AFF Roundtable: Cross Party Dating: The Pick-Ups, Perils, and Pitfalls

October 12, 2005 | America's Future Foundation

This Wednesday, October 12, please join AFF’s Roundtable, “Cross Party Dating: The Pick-Ups, Perils, and Pitfalls.” Our panelists will debate over the merits of dating people of different political ideologies. In the politically-charged DC culture, does party really matter in finding your soul mate? Do opposites really attract, or is it a foolish flirtation to date someone of a different mindset? Moderated by Julian Sanchez, Reason Magazine, the panelists include: Raul Damas, political affairs at the White House; John Hlinko, founder of Act for Love, an online dating portal, pairing politically active couples; Amanda Carpenter, Human Events; and Jesse Benton, American Meat Institute. The event will take at the Fund for American Studies, 1706 New Hampshire Avenue, NW, near Dupont Circle. Drinks and appetizers at 6:30; Roundtable begins at 7:00. Roundtables are free for members, $5 for non-members. So join today! Please RSVP to pope@americasfuture.org.
