AFF Underground: The Singing Revolution!

April 18, 2008 |

This month, AFF is taking Underground to the E Street Cinema for a showing of The Singing Revolution, a film chronicling Estonia's quest for freedom from Soviet rule using the power of song. Between 1987 and 1991, hundreds of thousands took to the streets to sing forbidden patriotic songs, forming a national unity that was key in the country's independence.

The Singing Revolution will be coming to Washington, DC on April 18th, and AFF would like to cordially invite you to attend a screening with us! E Street Cinema does not typically release movie times until the week prior to the showing, but we'd like you to save the date and join us for drinks at Capital City Brewing Company at 1100 New York Ave starting at 6:30 that Friday evening.

Check the AFF Website or Washingtron Planner for a link to purchase your tickets, as well as updated showtimes!
