Broadcast indecency roundtable

Has TV gone too far? What should the government do about it? Should it regulate cable and satellite like it does overt-the-air broadcasting, or should it loosen speech restrictions on the latter? And how does media consolidation fit into the indecency debate? Those were the questions panelists tried to answer at this AFF roundtable discussion. Speakers included journalist David Freddoso, Drew Clark of the National Journal, former broadcaster Ken Wolfe, and Marvin Johnson of the ACLU. Jerry Brito of AFF was the moderator. The event took place on Wednesday, May 18th, at the Fund for American Studies is Washington, D.C.
