The American Spectator is seeking aspiring writers who wish to take the next step in building a lifelong career as a professional journalist. The Young Journalism Training Program provides practical, hands-on training for journalists by journalists. Program emphasis includes news writing, investigative reporting, writing and editing for the e-news media, and developing effective writing skills. Candidates accepted into the program will receive regular training, supervision, and editing, and will be published in The American Spectator print magazine and website. Participating writers will be compensated for published articles.
