Staff Assistant

The Philanthropy Roundtable is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Staff Assistant position in our Washington, DC, office.

The Staff Assistant serves as the primary receptionist and support staff member for all Philanthropy Roundtable staff. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, accepting shipments, sorting and distributing mail, preparing correspondence, recording incoming checks, filling publication orders, providing general data entry and some data entry for our website, managing guidebook mailings including letters and coordination with the mail house, assisting with other bulk mailings, researching and updating mailing information, scheduling meetings, and performing other reasonable duties as assigned.

Skills and attributes important to this assignment are good organization, a high degree of professionalism, strong attention to detail, effective phone communication, good writing skills, cheerfulness, and a high standard of honesty.

The Philanthropy Roundtable’s mission is to foster excellence in philanthropy, help donors achieve their philanthropic intent, and help donors advance freedom, opportunity, and personal accountability in the United States and abroad. The Roundtable currently assists more than 550 associates, including foundations, generous families, donor advisors, and corporate giving programs.
