Education Policy Analyst

The Las Vegas-based Nevada Policy Research Institute (NPRI) is a free-market and limited-government policy research organization which currently seeks a detail-oriented and experienced Education Policy Analyst.

The Education Policy Analyst will be responsible for researching and writing policy reports and commentaries on education, testing methods and school choice issues facing the state of Nevada. The Education Policy Analyst may also be required to give presentations to groups and to conduct interviews with the media. Some travel will be required.

Qualified candidates will have a strong attention to detail, knowledge of national and statewide education trends, a firm intellectual grasp of school choice policies, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods. Degrees in public administration, economics, political science or related areas preferred, with a strong preference toward candidates with relevant work experience.
