Junior Economist

Berman and Company | Posted on August 10, 2008

Berman and Company, a free-market oriented public affairs firm, seeks a junior economist to work with us on projects in the field of labor/health economics. The right candidate will support the organization by conducting in-house research projects, reviewing studies for publication, conducting background research and literature reviews on topics that affect the entry-level workforce (federal and state policies on minimum/living wage increases and benefit mandates, such as paid leave and employer-provided healthcare), and communicating technical material to non-economists.

Ideal candidate will have a B.A. in economics, have non-academic work experience (private or public sector), a high energy level, a probing mind, and strong writing and communications skills.
