FreedomWorks is a non-profit grassroots organization that fights for lower taxes, less government and more economic freedom. We are looking for a development professional that has an interest in politics and free-market economics to assist in our fund raising department. The primary responsibility of the Development Manager is to cultivate, solicit and steward gifts from current donors and to identify prospects for major gifts and develop them into major donors. Position will also manage donor cultivation and relationship building for a portfolio of individual supporters. Two years fundraising, legislative and/or grassroots experience preferred. The ability to conduct research and identify new funding opportunities, as well as possessing excellent writing and communication skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications.
