THE AFF NETWORK

Membership Benefits

Membership is the core of everything AFF is about--a network of conservative and libertarian leaders and talent. That network has been building for ten years, which makes it robust and extensive in all levels in D.C., but also around the country. To be a member of AFF is to be a part of this network and to gain leadership experience through our programs. People in our network often come to AFF to hire from our talent pool of members when they become successful in their own careers, as do the major policy organizations and other groups. Below are the benefits of membership.

Monthly Roundtables

AFF's famous Roundtables at the Fund for American Studies building just north of Dupont Circle feature the best of young talent and current policy stars. The topics are fresh and relevant, and our panelists explore the issues at hand from the perspective of their implications on libertarians and conservatives. If you're interested in getting experience with public speaking, this is the place to exercise your talents. Many great policy leaders have gotten their start on our panels. With anywhere from 50 to 80 people packed in, these events bring you great analysis in the company of your high-powered peers. Munchies and drinks included--free entry for members, but $5 for non-members. That's a $50 value over the year for members! The Roundtables alone are reason to join! Monthly happy hours

Now alternating between Capitol Hill and Dupont Circle, our monthly happy hours are well-attended with people making things happen in DC every day. This is the best opportunity to mingle, get to know other members and friends, and forge professional and personal relationships you may have for years to come. AFF Underground

To provide even more value to our members and explore the connections of philosophy and freedom in art and pop culture, AFF Underground hosts events for smaller groups of people every 6 or 8 weeks. This program seeks to bring DC's rich cultural offerings to its members with carefully chosen events designed to expose attendees to art and culture, and understand and enjoy their significance. It also creates a fun, comfortable atmosphere to attend events among friends. Members enjoy special discounts on tickets and other aspects of the events.
