AFF Halloween happy hour this month...
Next week, AFF will host its annual Halloween happy hour on Thursday, October 26th. Make sure to wear your most ghoulishly garish costume and head on over to the Eighteenth Street Lounge. Check out pictures from our past Halloween Happy Hours here, here, and here. The event will take place at the Eighteenth Street Lounge.
The address is 1212 18th Street, NW, and the nearest Metro stop is Dupont Circle on the Red Line. Perhaps adding to its mystique, the 18th Street Lounge doesn’t have a sign out front, so just look for the mirrored entrance next to Candey hardware store. Please note: we’ll be out on the back patio and on the second floor. Just look for AFF members wearing little orange AFF lapel pins. As always, there is no cover and there are beer, wine, and rail drink specials from 6 to 9 p.m.
Crabfest and roundtable pictures now online...
Photos from this year's Crabfest at the historic Collingswood Mansion are now online. If you came, take a peek and see if our candid camera got you. And if you didn't come, check out what you missed so you don't make the same mistake next year. Also, pictures from last Wednesday's roundtable on the midterm elections are now also online. Audio of the event will be up later today.
Cheating cheaters...
In our online magazine this week, James Markels writes on how those who learn to cheat in school are likely to be cheaters for life.

Your dream job...
