IN THIS ISSUE: HAPPY HOUR THIS WEEK | PODCAST: U.S. ATTORNEY FIRINGS | BRAINWASH: HILARY 1984 | JOBS AND MORE

Happy hour this week...
Please note the change of venue. AFF’s next monthly happy hour will take place this Thursday, March 29, at the Eighteenth Street Lounge. The address is 1212 18th Street, NW, and the nearest Metro stop is Dupont Circle on the Red Line. Perhaps adding to its mystique, the 18th Street Lounge doesn't have a sign out front, so just look for the mirrored entrance next to Candey hardware store. Just look for AFF members wearing little orange AFF lapel pins. As always, there is no cover and there are beer, wine, and rail drink specials from 6 to 9 p.m.

In the podcast this week...
This week on Inside Washington Weekly, AFF's weekly podcast, the U.S. Attorney scandal, the Iraq war spending bill, and YouTube and campaign finance laws. The show’s panelists this week are David Freddoso of the Evans-Novak Political Report, Brainwash editor J.P. Freire, and Dave Weigel of Reason magazine. David White hosts. In Brainwash this week...
Among other articles in this week's Brainwash, David Freddoso looks at the accuracy of the 1984 Hillary commercial and why it got so much hype. Also, Megan Keane will review Black Snake Moan's use of sexual empowerment as a tool of... healing? We'll be updating throughout the week. If you have any article ideas to pitch or would like to submit something, email jp@americasfuture.org.

Your dream job...
American Enterprise Institute is looking to fill two positions. One is called the web editor, and it requires someone with an unusual combination of skills. The institute is in the middle of redesigning our website and that person has to work with all the departments to make sure each one is satisfied with what is being done. The other position is a director of book marketing. They need someone who knows how to promote books that have narrow audiences. For more info, see http://www.americasfuture.org/jobboard/archives/022037.php.
