IN THIS ISSUE: CRABFEST 2007: SAVE THE DATE | WHAT'S NEW IN THE PODCAST AND BRAINWASH | JOBS AND MORE
AFF annual Crabfest next month...
Every year, AFF hosts it's annual outdoor jamboree, Crabfest. This year it will take place on Saturday, September 15th. We will have great music, refreshments, and all the crabs, hot dogs and burgers guests can handle. Crabfest will be held at the historic Collingswood Mansion in Alexandria, Virginia. The beautiful grounds overlook the water, with plenty of lawn for frisbee or other games. Last year over a hundred young conservative and libertarian leaders attended. Stay tuned for more information.
In the podcast this week...
This week on Inside Washington Weekly, AFF's weekly podcast, the Iowa Straw Poll, Fred Thompson's campaign, Karl Rove's departure, and Giuliani's family. The show's panelists this week are Matt Continetti of the Weekly Standard, Sarah Longwell of Berman and Co., and Chris Pope of the American Enterprise Institute. David White hosts. In Brainwash last week...
In Brainwash last week, Dorian Davis pulled back the curtain on veteran and journalist Matt Sanchez, who stoked controversy by helping to uncover the lies of the Baghdad Diarist. And John Tabin took a look at Mike Huckabee's media scramble, and found that his economic policy is a little scrambled too.
Brainwash is on the lookout for good writers -- and we'll pay if the article is good. Email jp@americasfuture.org to pitch an idea.
