The Capital Fringe Festival is a celebration of all things artsy and independent. There’s musical comedy, stand up, monologues, dancing and more. Performances range from the serious (Slave Narratives Revisited ) to the delightfully absurd (Jerry Springer: The Opera).
To watch the performances, you’ll need to buy a button ($5) and individual tickets to the shows (prices vary). Or, if you’re really hardcore, there are Fringe Festival passes (prices range from $50 to $300).
